/// why we do this
We are convinced that life can be really good for the 3500 young people who live in Witney.
There are all kinds of things that can hold us back from living our best life. At THE STATION our hope is that every 10-18 year old will live free. Free from poor self image, addiction, anxiety, negative behaviours and bad relationships and free to grow in confidence, resilience and to become all they can be.
So ... we've developed a whole bunch of projects that you can read about on this website, you can get involved with as as a volunteer or funder.
THE INVITATION IS SIMPLE
Set an alarm for 10:18am everyday
Pray for freedom for the 3500 10 to 18 year olds who live in Witney
We've created some resources to help you get stuck in ...
You can download wallpapers for your phone so that every time you pick up it up you're prompted to think and pray.
There are fridge magnets so whether you make you're morning cuppa or grabbing a midnight snack - you can pause for a moment and pray.
And we've made festival wristbands that you can wear to remind you to pray and as a way to start conversations with people about the 10:18 prayer initiative.

FAQ///
Why is it called the 10:18 prayer initiative?
Because we're praying for young people aged 10-18 and we're committing to pray at 10:18 every day.
Why are you praying?
We are a charity run by Christians and when we read the Bible we see that prayer really works. When we look around the world we see that people's lives and the culture of whole cities have been changed when a few people commit to praying. So we're doing that for the young people in Witney because we believe that things can and should be better.
What if I don't pray?
Don't worry. You just do whatever you normally do when you really want to see something happen. Because all of us want to see young people in Witney living their best lives.
What if I don't know what to pray?
Prayer is a simple conversation with God. so just you can just chat to him - out loud or in your head. Just start by saying what you think needs to change in your world, tell him what you don't like and what you would like to see happen. Then look around and see what changes.
And if you need help with things that aren't ok in your life, chat with us too - we are here for you and can help you get the support you need.
